Next Home

Transparently priced, this sweet and delightful home bordering Redwood Heights is perched with incredible views to San Francisco and the bay. Wide-plank oak flooring, a hand crafted copper fireplace, picture windows throughout - it’s a home filled with architectural and preserved period detailing. A split-level upper floor includes an updated east facing kitchen set perfect for morning light along with 3 beds and 1.5 bathrooms with southern exposure. One stair flight down and you discover a huge bonus room connecting a hall bathroom, laundry, and a family room that spills to two terraced brick patios. Arguably some of the best weather around you’ll love the yard - it offers a chance to garden, play, or rest - even dine al fresco under a mature grape vine. Located near parks, bus transit, BART, and to amenities 5 minutes away in Montclair Village or along MacArthur Blvd. You’ve got it all, plus views right here on Midvale!

Redwood Heights takes its name from a former logging road that winds into the Oakland Hills. Homes range in style and include Tudor, Craftsman, and French Normandy, with some homes built in the 1920s.

The Redwood Heights Neighborhood Association is dedicated to preserving a sense of community through events such as block parties and barbecues.

The Redwood Heights Recreation Center is used by locals of all ages for weekend gatherings and classes including dance, cooking, and karate. Peralta Creek's 9 acres of creekside have been designated as wildlife corridor. A neighborhood nonprofit Native Environment Watershed Transformation (NEWT) orchestrated the Peralta Creek restoration and leads creek field trips for local school groups. Redwood Regional Park offers nearly 40 miles of hiking and mountain biking trails through 1,380 acres of redwood, evergreen, and chaparral forests and open space.
